SCT Bike-and-Hike Tour of Stow Conservation Lands
RESCHEDULED: see May, 2010-Saturday, October 17, 2009 – All around Stow
Hop on your bike for a tour of Stow's many conservation lands.  We will ride about 25 miles at a moderate pace, visiting nearly every major conservation parcel in town, with stops for several short explorations on foot.  Ride date Saturday, October 17, rain date Sunday October 18.  Maximum 10 riders; pre-registration required.  Call or e-mail Jill Kern for more information and to register, at 978-568-0814 or jill.kern@comcast.net.

Meet at Pine Bluffs parking lot, off Sudbury Rd, west of Kingsland

Meet at Fieldstone Drive trailhead, off Taylor Rd

Friday, January 1, 2010– 1:00 pm Gardner Hill
Meet in parking lot at end of Bradley Lane, off south side of 117 just west of Shaw’s
Start the New Year right with a hike and maybe some wildlife tracking. You might snowshoe, ski or just plan walk, depending on conditions.

Sunday, February 7, 2010 – 2:00 pm Red Acre
Meet at trailhead on south side of South Acton Road, just east of Wetherbee Lane, by a gate and a sign for the Red Acre Woodland.

Sunday, March 7, 2010– 2:00 pm Flagg Hill
Meet at West Acton Road trailhead by large gray concrete garage

Sunday, April 4, 2010– 2:00 pm Marble Hill
Meet at Pompositticut School parking lot on Great Road

Sunday, May 2, 2010 – 2:00 pm Hale / Corzine - tentative
